Before I tell you who I am, I want you to know I initially created this website to be an online portfolio about me and my international experience. Since starting photography I decided to update my site to emphasize my Photography work but I did keep other areas I do. So, let's begin...
I'm the son of recognized historian, Zonnie Gorman. The grandson of Carl Gorman (Navajo Code Talker and artist) and Mary Gorman. And, I'm the nephew of world renowned artist, R.C. Gorman.
I'm both a twin brother and a younger brother (yes, I'm the youngest) and I have a half sister.
I grew up on the Navajo Nation and lived in Gallup, NM. I'm mixed blooded and my thesis project for my masters will focus on this topic. After high school, I attempted university but decided to take a Gap Year and traveled with Up with People (UWP) for 3 years. With UWP, I traveled to 12 countries and became a world traveler and the travel bug is still in me. After UWP, I returned to university and studied acting and communication. Later, I decided to pursue a masters degree that let me travel as well. While in graduate school, I picked up a camera again and started photographing internationally.
From here, you can learn more about what I do. Enjoy and I hope to hear from you!
Photographer
I picked up a camera two years ago and now I'm now pursuing photography. While I enjoy travel photography, I've ventured into fashion and headshot photography.
Actor
The performing arts is a field I repeatedly find myself in but acting is the core of my arts passion.
Professional/ Interculturalist
Currently, I'm a master's student at Concordia University - Portland. All of my course work is complete and I'm in New Mexico so I can focus on my thesis project.
